Desert Rose Reveal

Through practical collaboration between students and industry, Team UOW in the Solar Decathlon 2018 endeavour to change the way the world views sustainable housing by building a home that is architecturally inspiring, affordable and adaptive to a person’s needs as they continue to age, creating “A House For Life”. This is a home that celebrates life by helping the elderly to live a life of enjoyment in the comfort of their own home for as long as they choose.

As part of the Sustainability Festival we are also showcasing not only what we are achieving in the Sustainability space but highlighting other organisations who are also doing incredible things right next door.

There will be local food, short presentations from experts and enough to keep the kids entertained.

We would love to see you on Saturday the 21^st of July between 9am and 4pm to show you our ‘House for life’ and celebrate sustainability in the greater Illawarra.
