Art and Dementia program, Logan Art Gallery

Art Gallery

At Logan Art Gallery offers monthly discussion-based tours of works of art for people with dementia and their carers.

Facilitated by our trained volunteers, the participants are encouraged to contribute knowledge, engage in interpretation, express emotions and recall memories.

They provide a safe and supportive environment free from expectations or judgement where participants are able to enjoy a shared experience. 

They then have morning tea accompanied by very informal social interaction within the group.
