The Dementia-Friendly Kiama Project is proud to announce the annual Bondi2Berry bike ride to raise awareness of dementia. The goal for 2021 is to raise $120,000 for Dementia Australia. All funds raised by the ride will go towards researching a cure and associated research projects.

About the ride

Bondi2Berry is a challenging, yet beautiful ride – 155km in distance, and elevation of 1,700m.

Seven groups of 20 riders starting from the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, riding out of the Eastern Suburbs and travelling through parts of the Royal National Park to Wollongong, Kiama and finishing in Berry on the NSW south coast. The riders will be doing their usual “pit-stop” in Hindmarsh Park, Kiama and will be greeted by the Mayor of Kiama Councillor Mark Honey and members of the Dementia-Friendly Kiama Project.

The ride is an open road event, adhering to normal road rules and is sanctioned by Cycling NSW.

We would like to thank our valued and committed sponsors and volunteers, as without your generous contributions this event will not be able to take place.
