The Dementia-Friendly Kiama Project is proud to announce the annual Bondi2Berry bike ride to raise awareness of dementia. All funds raised by the ride will go towards researching a cure and associated research projects.
About the ride
Bondi2Berry is a challenging, yet beautiful ride – 155km in distance, and elevation of 1,700m.
The 7th instalment of Bondi2Berry with 140 riders over 7 groups. Seven groups of 20 riders starting from the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, riding out of the Eastern Suburbs and travelling through parts of the Royal National Park to Wollongong, Kiama and finishing in Berry on the NSW south coast.
There will be a pit stop in Kiama at the Anglican Church, 2 Terralong Street, Kiama. The riders will be received by Kiama Mayor, Neil Reilly, and members of the Dementia Friendly Kiama project. There will be lots of exciting entertainment provided to make the event memorable.”
The ride is an open road event, adhering to normal road rules and is sanctioned by Cycling NSW.
