The Golden Wattle Cafe in Hobart is the first in Southern Tasmania dedicated to those living with dementia and their caregivers.
Inclusive space
The Memory Lounge is a unique lounge area in our Reading Room which provides a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone, including furnishings selected to create a dementia-friendly environment.
Community Event
This free program for people living with dementia and their caregiver includes viewing of specially selected artworks accompanied by a hands-on tactile and sensory-based art making activity.
Cafe
Our weekly DCaf social café programme has provided an opportunity for people living with dementia and their family and/or carers to socialise, relax and discover ways to live well with dementia.
